Pioneering International Success
Revival’s foundation was built with the goal of enabling Maldivian players to shine on international stages. In its first year, the club made a significant mark abroad, participating in three international events.
- Zayan Zaki and Fathimath Nabaha won Bronze at the Uganda International Series and made history by securing Gold at the Pakistan International Series — the first-ever BWF-sanctioned gold medal for the Maldives.
- Zayan and Ahmed Thoif earned Bronze in Men’s Doubles at the Ghana International Series.
In 2023, Revival athletes represented the Maldives at the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) in Madagascar. The trio of Zayan, Thoif, and Rishwan Shiyam won Silver in the Team Event, while Zayan and Nabaha claimed Bronze in Mixed Doubles in the Open Category.
