Revival Sports is committed to bridging the gap between urban and island athletes by building a nationwide platform for growth and excellence. Developmental initiatives include outdoor badminton court projects, athlete scholarships, and overseas training opportunities with elite international coaches—ensuring that talent, no matter where it’s found, is nurtured to its fullest potential.
2020 - Establishment of the Revival Sports youth academy.
In September 2020, Revival Sports established a youth academy with the aim of promoting grassroots badminton and fostering greater engagement within local communities.
2024 - Establishment of Revival Sports Eydhafushi branch.
The establishment of the Revival Sports branch in Eydhafushi Island, Baa Atoll, marks a significant step forward in the decentralisation of sports development in the Maldives. To launch this important initiative, a tournament was held in which feather shuttles were prominently featured, challenging the traditional use of nylon shuttles in Atoll and Inter-School competitions. This effort aims to create equal opportunities for talented young athletes across the country, enabling them to reach their full potential regardless of where they reside in the Maldives.
