
Revival Juniors ready to shine at Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open
Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025, organized by The Badminton Club, will kick off from 1st – 6th September 2025 at the Kulhivaru Ekuveni Indoor Court in Malé.
The prestigious tournament will see participation from 350 players across 30 events, with the official draw held last night at Henveyru Bōlhage.
Among the largest contingents this year, Revival Sports Badminton Academy is sending 34 junior athletes, underlining its reputation as one of the finest academies in the Maldives. Based in Eydhafushi with collaboration of Revival Sports, the academy has consistently dominated junior tournaments in recent years.
Revival juniors have enjoyed remarkable success leading up to this tournament.
At the Naifaru Open (Junior Category), 13 of their players competed and all returned with medals, 13 in total. Earlier this year at the Revival Sports Eydhafushi Junior Open, held at Eydhafushi, the academy earned a staggering 79 medals, including 19 golds, 23 silvers, and 37 bronzes.
For the Dhiraagu Junior Open, Revival’s players will compete across both singles and doubles:

The 2025 edition, inaugural, Maldives Junior Open, will also welcome international players from Sri Lanka, India, China, Philippines, Bangladesh, and Nepal, giving young Maldivian shuttlers a chance to test themselves against strong regional competition.
