Revival Sports gears up with 11 players for Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open

Revival Sports Club will be strongly represented at the upcoming Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025, with 11 players from their High Performance Team set to compete.

The tournament, organized by The Badminton Club, will be held from 1st – 6th September 2025 at Kulhivaru Ekuveni Indoor Court, Malé, bringing together 350 players across 30 events.

The official draw was conducted last night at Henveyru Boalhage.

The Revival High Performance Team players participating are:

  • Haisham Ibrahim Ali
  • Adam Maheen Mohamed
  • Ahmed Ayaan Bin Mohamed Solah

  • Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq
  • Aminath Nabeeha Abdul Razzaq
  • Aishath Alisha Moosa

This year’s edition will feature players from Sri Lanka, India, China, Philippines, Bangladesh, and Nepal, alongside local talents.

For Maldivian shuttlers, especially Revival’s youngsters, the tournament promises invaluable international exposure and competitive experience.

Revival Sports Club has been on an impressive run of form. At the Naifaru Open Badminton Tournament (National Category), seven of their players clinched medals.

Following that, during the first-ever National Team selection, Revival dominated with eight of the twelve players chosen for the national squad coming from the club.

With this momentum, Revival’s 11 representatives will look to make a strong impact on one of the biggest junior badminton stages in the Maldives.
