Revival Sports Dominant in National Selection for Badminton Asia Regional Championships 2026

Revival Sports has emerged as the dominant force at the National Selection Trials for the Badminton Asia Regional Championships 2026, securing the majority of spots in the boys’ divisions.

The selection trials, held from 27th March to 2nd February, finalized the national squad that will represent the country at the Badminton Asia Regional Championships scheduled from 1st to 7th April in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Out of the six male athletes selected across categories, four are from Revival Sports and Revival Sports Eydhafushi, underlining the club’s strong development program and competitive depth.

In the Under-16 Boys category, Mohamed Aydhin Anwar of Revival Sports Badminton Academy and Risham Abdul Fathah of Revival Sports Eydhafushi earned qualification. Risham has been placed in Group A, while Aydhin will compete in Group B.

Revival Sports continued its dominance in the Under-23 Boys category, with Adam Maheen Mohamed and Ahmed Ayaan Bin Mohamed Solah both securing places on the national team.

Other qualified athletes from the selection process include Yalvee Hussain Zuhury and Laiba Ahmed Mahloof in the Girls Under-16 category, Ahmed Falah Faroozan and Ibrahim Nashith Hamdi in Boys Under-19, Kiyaan Adil Mohamed and Aminath Farha Faroozan in Girls Under-19, and Aishath Zoya Hussain together with Shuba Mohamed Shareef in the Girls Under-23 division.

With a strong representation heading into the continental championship in Islamabad, Revival Sports once again demonstrates its growing influence in national badminton and its continued commitment to producing high-performing athletes ready to compete on the regional stage.
