Revival Sports U-23 Trio Head to Malaysia for International Training Camp
Revival Sports Club has taken another significant step in its youth development pathway, as three players from the club’s Under-23 squad prepare to travel to Malaysia for an intensive overseas training camp.
The selected players, Adam Maheen Mohamed, Ahmed Ayaan bin Mohamed Solah, and Mohamed Khalaf Imraan, will take part in a pre-competition phase training programme conducted by the Asia Badminton Academy.
The camp is scheduled to run from 22 December 2025 to 24 January 2026 and will focus on advanced tactical development, including specialised sessions based on five key tactical rules of modern badminton.
According to the club, the programme forms part of Revival Sports’ long-term initiative to provide its youth players with international exposure and high-level training opportunities beyond domestic competition. Training in a professional overseas environment is expected to enhance the players’ technical ability, tactical understanding, discipline, and overall match readiness.
The Asia Badminton Academy is known for its structured approach to player development, combining on-court tactical sessions with physical conditioning, mental preparation, and match simulation. The camp will place particular emphasis on game awareness, decision-making under pressure, and adapting to international playing standards, key elements for players transitioning into higher levels of competition.
For Maheen, Ayaan , and Khalaf, the training camp represents a valuable opportunity to test themselves against diverse playing styles while gaining experience in a competitive international setting. The club believes such exposure is essential in shaping players capable of representing Revival Sports, and potentially the nation, at elite levels in the future.
Revival Sports officials highlighted that investing in youth development remains a core pillar of the club’s vision. By sending young athletes abroad for structured training programmes, the club aims to bridge the gap between local competition and international performance standards.
The Malaysian training camp is expected to play a crucial role in preparing the U-23 players for upcoming competitions, while also reinforcing Revival Sports Club’s commitment to nurturing talent through progressive and forward-thinking development initiatives.
