Hungarian International Championships, held from 28 to 31 October, was the second stop on Revival Sports’ three-tournament European campaign. The tour began at the Hellas International 2026 in Greece from 20 to 23 October and will conclude at the FZ FORZA Norwegian International from 5 to 8 November.

At the opening tournament in Greece, Revival Sports’ twin sisters Naba and Naby reached the women’s doubles quarter-finals, marking the second time this year that they had advanced to the last eight of a European Badminton World Federation (BWF) Circuit tournament. The pair had also reached the quarter-finals at an event in Italy earlier in the season.

Naba and Naby secured their place in the quarter-finals with a straight-games victory over Bulgarian pair G. Pavlova and T. Pavlova, winning 21–15, 21–15 in the round of 16. Their run ended in the quarter-finals, where they lost 21–8, 21–18 to Danish pair Jonassen and Viscovich.

Naby also reached the mixed doubles round of 16 alongside Nibal. The pair began their campaign with a 21–11, 21–9 victory over J. Casaru and Abela in the round of 32 before losing 21–14, 21–12 to German pair Zhang and Stomel.

In men’s doubles, Nibal and Zayan Zaki advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Greek players Kapoukranidis and Polizoakis 21–16, 21–6. Their campaign ended against Turkish pair G. Gol and M. Seven, who won 21–16, 21–13.

Hassan Zayan also competed in the men’s singles qualifying rounds in Greece but lost to Bulgarian player Ruptsov 21–8, 21–7. Meanwhile, Zayan Zaki and Naba contested mixed doubles, where they were defeated 21–9, 21–9 by Portuguese pair David Silva and Marta Sousa.

The five Revival Sports athletes representing the club on the European tour are Zayan Zaki, Nibal Ahmed, Hassan Zayan Mohamed, Naba and Naby. Their participation across three international tournaments provides opportunities to compete against international opposition, gain valuable match experience and continue their development.

Following the Hungarian International Championships, the team’s European campaign will conclude at the FZ FORZA Norwegian International from 5 to 8 November. Zayan Zaki is scheduled to compete in men’s singles and mixed doubles, while Naba will participate in women’s doubles and mixed doubles. Naby is entered in women’s singles and women’s doubles.
