Revival Sports sign national team youngster Nashith
Revival Sports have strengthened their long-term commitment to developing Maldivian badminton talent with the signing of promising youngster Ibrahim Nashith Hamdi from Naifaru Badminton Academy on a full-time contract.
The 17-year-old joins the club after establishing himself as one of the country’s brightest emerging players. Nashith earned a place in the Maldives Men’s National Badminton Team at just 16 years of age, highlighting his rapid rise through the national ranks.
He also represented the Maldives at the Bahrain 2025 Asian Youth Games as a member of the national junior team, gaining valuable international experience against some of Asia’s top young badminton players.
At Revival Sports, Nashith will become part of the club’s Under-23 High Performance Squad, where he will train alongside the country’s leading players under the club’s elite development programme.
The move forms part of Revival Sports’ ongoing vision of identifying and nurturing the next generation of Maldivian badminton athletes by providing a professional training environment and a clear pathway to international competition.
